Training with Kelsey is a ton of fun. She makes me pour sweat and pushes me to put in 150% effort into all my programs. All the while I’m laughing and smiling. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and you can’t help but want to push yourself harder. Nate and Carlyn are both fun and share the same contagious enthusiasm.
I have seen real progression in my well being while training with programs that have been developed for me. After working with Stenia for three 4-6 week long training programs I have seen a dramatic increase in my strength, endurance and flexibility. The difference in my appearance is so noticeable I have been asked numerous times at the office if I have begun to hit the gym. Through some nutritional coaching my diet is much healthier and subsequently, I feel more energetic. All of this will help prepare me for my trek around the world!

I’ve been working out in a group training environment for over a decade and have had a number of trainers over that time. In my opinion, Tessa is one of the finest trainers we have ever had and I feel fortunate to be in our third year of training with her.
Tessa is creative, proficient, and fun. You’ll never get bored with Tessa as she is constantly bringing forth new exercises that challenge your strength, balance and aerobic capacity. She develops 4- to 6-week plans with specific goals and uses her organizational skills and knowledge to keep you focused on the task at hand. And even though she is pushing you, her infectious smile and great personality make it fun.
Prior to working out with Tessa, I had chronic back and knee pain. Tessa has been responsive to that offering up specific exercises and stretches to alleviate these problems and now my back and knees are virtually a non-issue. Over the last two-and-a-half years I’ve seen a marked improvement in core and overall strength, flexibility, balance, and aerobic capacity—in both myself and the others in my group. I finished my indoor volleyball career and I decided that I wanted to turn all my focus to professional beach volleyball. I knew I needed help becuase I had taken a long break from training. I originally met Kelsey as a fellow Dino athlete, and then later as a Strength Coach at the Canadian Sport Center. I asked her if she could help me get beach fit, in a city with no beaches.
After training with Kelsey, I came into this beach season with the best fitness I’ve have ever had. This is a testament to the strength of Stenia’s training programs, style and philosophies. I believe in the program she has created. I know that when I stay disciplined to it, the results will come. Kelsey’s training style works for me because there is structure and she understands what my body needs to do to get fitter, not to mention the fact that I enjoy her company and she is someone I look up to. I get “bagged” once a week by her at 8am. I hate getting up early … but somehow she makes an 8am session fun, even though it’s physically exhausting. I can honestly say I feel better after each workout. Kelsey kicks my ass and I don’t even mind.

Working with Kelsey and her team has been a very positive experience. Programs were set to meet our individual needs and appointments were scheduled to fit our timetable. We found Kelsey to be professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled as a trainer. She insists on execution of proper technique and challenges us to work hard without overkill. Kelsey Andries has exceeded my expectations as a trainer. I will narrow it down to 3 reasons why Kelsey is so effective.
